A Social Studies Teacher, responsible for 25 World History lessons per week and 3 Homeroom sessions per week for 9th grade who can also develop and implement History curriculum for high school students. This exciting job is in Libya and requires living in Tripoli, the capital city of the country!

We are looking for a teacher who can engage students in critical thinking, analysis and communication skills, also differentiate instruction to accomodate  diverse learning styles, abilities and interests of the students. Teaching World History lessons, next to the administrative tasks and is also part of the Humanities Team meetings (twice a week). Knows how to communicate with parents, write PLPs for the homeroom students, and other tasks that are required normal for this role. 

Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Social Studies or a related field; previous experience teaching humanities or related subjects at the middle and/or high school level; strong content knowledge in language arts, social studies, and cultural studies; proficiency in integrating technology and instructional strategies to enhance student learning; excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills; commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students.
