We are looking for a governess for a special needs child (age 3 years) that provides tailored educational and developmental support in a private household, ensuring individualized care and instruction. <br />The governess will live in an apartment on the family's compound.<br />
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities are
- Educational: you develop and implement personalized education plans, adapt teaching method to suit the child's need. Teach specialized subjects tailor made for the child.
- Developmental: Support emotional, social and physical development, plan and supervise therapeutic and extracurricular activities, and teach life skills and right code of conduct.
- Supervisory: oversee daily routines, ensure safety, and enforce household rules.
- Collaborative: work closely with the parents, therapists, pre-school and other caregivers to ensure coordinated care.
Job requirements
You need a bachelor in psychology, special education or related field.
Also experienced in working with special needs children (e.g. Autism, ADHD). You have knowledge of specialized educational techniques and child development. You have excellent communication skills, are patient and creative.
