We are searching for a Systems Engineering Lead to oversee the end-to-end design, development, and integration of space mission systems. Responsibilities include ensuring seamless coordination between hardware and software components, optimizing resource utilization, and adhering to best practices. The ultimate goal is to deliver and operate successful space systems that meet all technical, commercial, and programmatic requirements.

- Systems Architecture: Define and refine the overall system architecture, ensuring alignment with mission objectives
- Requirements Management: Develop, analyze, and manage system requirements, considering technical, operational, and stakeholder needs
- Integration and Testing: Oversee system integration, testing, and validation activities
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, and project managers
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive technical documentation
- Project Closure: Ensure successful project delivery and transition to operations
Job requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in satellite technology or aerospace industry, with a focus on systems engineering
- Adaptability to a fast-paced startup environment
- Cross-cultural communication skills to participate in an international team
- Willingness to relocate to the Arabian Gulf region (remote work during relocation planning may be possible)

The company is a space startup in The Gulf who wants to protect life and property by providing accurate, timely, and reliable distress alert and location information to search and rescue authorities. They do this through collecting and distributing reliable and accurate distress alert data in a timely fashion using satellite receiving stations and a mission control center and through coordinating with national and international organizations on frequency management, satellite, emergency beacon and search and rescue issues. At the moment they are using satellites from other companies. They are working on launching their own satellite and collecting the date by themselves. <br /><br />
